that was exceptionally comfortable hotel set in great area, near to a nice botanical garden. the staff were very nice, with extra attention to the details. the breakfast was sensational, with a good choice of meals. the location was marvellous and perfect, walking distance to all interests. there was big tuna fish co nearby to grab something to eat.

Even though everything was great, some of the staff were not very friendly.

I was pleased with the hotel's ideal location and the helpful staff who arranged a taxi to the airport. the modern and spacious rooms were comfortable, featuring cozy beds and glazed windows. Amenities like a microwave, electric kettle, and fridge added to the convenience. the venue is well-situated near rural and regional Australia, the business center, gardens, and shopping center. I was just a short distance from Picnic Point Reserve. I had a delightful two-night stay.

Positive Review of Mackay Motor Inn

The Mackay Motor Inn provided a comfortable stay with tidy and accommodating rooms. Its location is ideal, situated just off the gardens and shops, making it convenient for exploring Mackay. We enjoyed our time there for 3 nights at the end of November. During a rainy day, we appreciated the nearby Jimbo's Quality Seafood for a relaxing meal.

I had a wonderful two-night stay and am glad I chose Mackay Motor Inn. the staff were super friendly and very welcoming. the location is fantastic, being close to restaurants and near Mackay for the Elton John concert, as well as the lagoon and the Botanical Gardens. the breakfast was excellent, and the check-in process was easy.

We stayed for a week while visiting family and were thoroughly impressed. the staff warmly welcomed us, and Naomi, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the room was clean and spacious, especially accommodating for my wheelchair. the pool and BBQ area were fantastic, and the nearby Botanical Gardens and local gym made it a prime location.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The location was excellent, as it was conveniently close to the Shamrock pub, which offers tasty pub food and roasts at reasonable prices, as well as being near Mackay and Harrup Park. the room was functional and neat, with a very comfy bed. the staff were extremely friendly.

I had a great stay here! the staff were super friendly, and they even helped me organize a taxi to the airport. the hotel is situated near the Botanical Gardens, which was a lovely area to explore. I appreciated the option to prepare my own meals, and the outdoor dining space was perfect for enjoying my dinner. the laundry service was handy, and I noticed they offered various tours, which is a nice touch. this place felt more inviting than my previous stays elsewhere.

A couple of things could be tweaked for a smoother experience. It would be nice if parking spots were better managed, as I had trouble unpacking.

We had a very warm and friendly welcome by Kim at the Mackay Motor Inn. The room was excellent - bright, neat as a pin, and roomy. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. The on-site restaurant offered reasonably priced room service meals, and I enjoyed a delicious Japanese chicken curry. The motel also had a great location with plenty to see within walking distance.

Conveniently close to the airport, just a quick 10-minute drive away. 💫 Really loved my stay at this place!

It was all superb.

The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the convenient location on the main highway. We were able to easily explore the area and visit the nearby Mackay Botanical Gardens. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, attending to every detail. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with tea and coffee making facilities. We appreciated the attention to detail, including the comfortable bed and pillows. it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

All was just fine during our stay.

The hotel was easy to find, located near a beautiful garden and had great parking. The staff was friendly and helpful in arranging a taxi for me to get to the airport.
